Welcome to Art in Public Places

Art in Public Places is a community art project organized and implemented by the Art in Public Places Committee of Arts Alliance Mountain Empire with the cooperation of the Bristol, Tennessee, and Bristol, Virginia, city governments. Click here to learn more about AiPP.

Arts Alliance Mountain Empire (AAME) will host Bristol's third annual Art in Public Places (AiPP) outdoor sculpture competition in 2008. The deadline for entries is April 30. Up to 10 artworks will be selected in May and installed by August 6. A reception and walking tour will be held August 7. Click here to learn more about the 2008 Outdoor Sculpture Competition.
