Now accepting entries for our 2010 Outdoor Sculpture Competition.
February 22, 2010Art in Public Places and the cities of Bristol, TN/VA, are accepting submissions from sculptors for our fifth Outdoor Sculpture Competition. Up to ten works will be selected for a one-year exhibition in downtown Bristol, TN/VA. A $1000 stipend will be awarded to each of the artists chosen. Click here for complete details. Read more »
Adam Walls' Memory Bomb chosen as the 2009-10 People's Choice Award winner
October 28, 2009The votes are tallied and the People's Choice award winner for the 3rd annual Art in Public Places (AiPP) community art project is Memory Bomb. Adam Walls, from Red Springs, NC is the winning artist. Memory Bomb is located on the green space beside the Bristol Virginia Fire Department on Lee Street in Bristol, Va. Read more »
Deadline for entries extended to May 31
