Welcome to Art in Public Places

Art in Public Places (AiPP) is a community art project organized and implemented by the Art in Public Places Board with the cooperation of the Bristol, Tennessee, and Bristol, Virginia, city governments. Click here to learn more about AiPP.

Jury Selection Delayed

Art in Public Places 2010 selection process has begun

Art in Public Places of Bristol is pleased to announce that the selection process for our 2010-11 Outdoor Sculpture Competition is now under way. Forty-two sculpture entries were submitted by 21 different sculptors for this year's competition. The winning selections will be announced on June 15.  Read more »

Art in Public Places and the cities of Bristol, TN/VA, are accepting submissions from sculptors for our fifth Outdoor Sculpture Competition. Up to ten works will be selected for a one-year exhibition in downtown Bristol, TN/VA. A $1000 stipend will be awarded to each of the artists chosen. Click here for complete details.  Read more »
